As part of our continued effort to promote the application of reproductive technologies, the University of Georgia Extension and College of Veterinary Medicine are collaborating with E.I. Medical Imaging to provide a training courses in bovine ultrasonography to veterinarians and veterinary students.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is restricted to veterinarians, veterinary students, and graduate students in bovine reproduction
Course Structure
This 2-day course is divided into in-class and hands-on portions. The in-class portions will provide attendees with the knowledge required to perform reproductive ultrasound evaluations in cattle. The in-class portion will be followed by the hands-on experiential learning (majority of the course), where attendees will have the opportunity to perform ultrasound examinations themselves.
Travel and Transportation
Closest airport is the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in Atlanta. The airport is approximately 1h40m from the University of Georgia campus.
Lodging: There are several lodging options available in Athens. The Double Bridges Teaching Farm is approximately 20 minutes from downtown Athens.
Transportation: If you are planning on flying, we recommend renting a vehicle at the ATL airport. However, there are companies that offer shuttles from ATL to the UGA Campus.
