Registration for the 2026 AI School is now open!


The Artificial Insemination School is coordinated by the UGA Beef Team in conjunction with ABS Global. This comprehensive course combines reproductive fundamentals, breeding-management principles, and hands-on artificial insemination practice.
Curriculum Includes:
- Anatomy and Reproduction
- Fertility
- Heat Detection
- Principles of Sire Selection
- Herd Management
- Semen Storage and Handling
- Estrus Synchronization
- Hands-On Artificial Insemination
The course provides substantial hands-on practice designed to help participants develop competence in artificial insemination techniques. The course consists of 24 hours of instruction; 14 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of laboratory instruction working with cattle

Registration
Registration fee is $650. The cost covers the supplies and use of practice cows at the school. This program has limited spots Therefore, registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
There are 17 available spots. Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
